Men and women should be neat and clean and avoid being extreme or inappropriately casual in clothing, hairstyle, and behavior. Immodest clothing is any clothing that is tight, sheer, or revealing in any manner. Pants, slacks, or jeans should not be patched, faded, frayed, or torn and must be ankle length. Hairstyles should be clean and neat, avoiding extreme styles and unnatural colors. Caps or hats should not be worn in buildings. Shoes should be worn in all public campus areas. Flip-flops and other casual footwear are inappropriate on campus. Shorts are not appropriate campus attire. Do not disfigure yourself with tattoos or body piercings.

Clothing is immodest when it is sleeveless, does not cover the stomach, or is low-cut in the front or back. Dresses and skirts should be knee-length or longer (even with leggings worn). Women may wear one pair of earrings.

The minimum standard for men will be shirt and tie. Jeans are not appropriate. The minimum standard for women will be a dress (or a skirt and blouse or sweater). Casual dress or clothing will not be permitted.

For the Strength of Youth teaches us to, "choose wisely when using media, because whatever you read, listen to, or look at has an effect on you. Select only media that uplifts you. Do not attend, view, or participate in anything that is vulgar, immoral, violent, or pornographic in any way. Do not participate in anything that presents immorality or violence as acceptable." Take care that your use of media and entertainment does not dull your sensitivity to the Spirit or interfere with your personal relationships with others. "Do not communicate anything over the Internet or through text that would be inappropriate to share in person. Obey the laws that govern sharing music, movies, and other copyrighted items" (pgs 11-13). See Apartment Living Standards at -living-standards

So, be prepared with insightful answers for these classics, plus be familiar with other interview questions typically asked in your field, too. Practice looking in the mirror and answering the questions out loud. This prep work will help you clarify your thoughts and make you much more comfortable during the interview.

As a Wyoming gal, I thought I had experienced cold. I remember waiting for the school bus in -35 degree temps, but no cold compares to the cold of a Chicago February, trudging through piles of dirty snow for 8 hours in a long denim skirt. I confess to taking long breaks sitting on the radiator of the local bakery. Without question, my Freshman 15 weight gain traces directly back to that bakery.

On Sunday, we boarded cold buses in the pre-dawn darkness, swung by the local bakery to pick up bags of day-old doughnuts, and made our rounds picking up rowdy little kids. The doughnut bag passed from seat to seat, as grubby hands rummaged to find one with sprinkles. We sang every Christian chorus we had ever learned. After church, we rounded up our charges and made the return route. By late afternoon, we returned to our dorms to crash, not even bothering with the jelly doughnut remnants in our hair, on our skirts, on our skin.

HUMILITY. Does church leadership model humility? Of course, you should see abundant evidence of all the fruits of the Spirit, but an absence of humility is a flashing neon tell. Charismatic leaders are often masters of gaslighting. Keep your antenna tuned for arrogance.

For incoming new students, residence halls officially open at 10:00 am on the Saturday before classes begin each semester. For returning students, residence halls officially open at 1:00 pm on the Sunday before classes begin each semester. The residence hall staff will conduct check-in when the student first arrives. A health insurance card, as well as your license plate number, is required to complete the necessary paperwork. After receiving the room key, a resident assistant (RA) will show the student to his/her room and assist the student in filling out the Check-In Form This form is to record any damages that exist before the student moves into the room (blinds, carpet, furniture, etc.). This same form will be used to check each student out of his/her room at the end of the semester or upon leaving school. The purpose of this form is to ensure a student is not charged for damage he/she did not cause throughout the year. After signing off on the Check-In Form and signing the Residence Hall Contract, the student is then allowed to begin to move his/her belongings into the dorm.

Use of guest privileges must always take into account the rights of your roommate and careful consideration must be shown for their property, privacy and convenience. A host is responsible for the behavior of a guest at all times and must inform guests of University policies. Should a problem occur, the visitation privilege of a guest may be terminated immediately.

During business hours or when representing Spelman, you are expected to present a clean, neat, and tasteful appearance. You should dress and groom yourself according to the requirements of your position and accepted social standards. This is particularly true if your job involves dealing with customers or visitors in person.

Your supervisor or department head is responsible for establishing a reasonable dress code appropriate to the job you perform. If your supervisor feels your personal appearance is inappropriate, you may be asked to leave the workplace until you are properly dressed or groomed. Under such circumstance, you will not be compensated for the time away from work. Consult your supervisor if you have questions as to what constitutes appropriate appearance. Where necessary, reasonable accommodation may be made to a person with a disability.

This is a private web portal specific to your school and you do require the school code to register and purchase garments plus you will find a pdf of the school uniform list as a reference for you to download. This can also be used should you require a quote for WINZ.
